Company Profile
The realisation of digital communication systems with high-capacity forms the main focus of the activities of the Institute for applied radio system technology (IAF).
An extensive knowledge has been built up in numerous successful projects in cooperation with our partners. Contribution to current research projects and long-time collaboration with universities and research institutes bring us always up to date with the latest state of technical knowledge.
We have been working in the field of "Digital radio transmissions with high data rates" since the company foundation in 1992. Our technical focus results from the perennial and continuous collaboration with our project partners. Here, the OFDM transmission technology has to be pointed out in particular. It provides new possibilities for robust data transmission via radio.
It is our aim to achieve a fast and flexible realisation of new research results in innovative products with the help of our partners:
Increasing efficiency of programmable logic provides for higher flexibility of the developed hardware. It is possible to start already with the setup of experimental systems in an early phase of the project. These insights can also be used directly for the subsequent product development which is due to the application of standardised hardware. The flexibility of the programmable hardware provides for the extension of the product life cycle.
Our developer team works with high commitment on the solution of the posed questions. High productivity is achieved through concentration on the technical assignment without restraints by bureaucratic barriers.
The flexibility of our small company measures up to the changing requirements and the steadily increasing speed of the technical progress. Fifteen years of successful work in our subject areas can prove this.
