- Exit Braunschweig Flughafen
- Turn right into Hermann-Blenck-Straße, then right into Waggumer Weg
- Turn right into Eckernerstraße (direction L293/Bevenroder Straße)
- Turn right into Bevenroder Straße
- The Bevenroder Straße becomes Friedrich-Voigtländer-Straße. After about 2,5 km on the crossroad with traffic light turn left into Berliner Straße
- Range in left and turn the first possibility left into Petzvalstraße
- Right away turn right in the entranceway and follow the twisty way
- The entrance of IAF is on the alongside from the right building.
From A2 from Berlin and Wolfsburg

- direction Braunschweig (ca. 5 km)
- Berliner Straße (B248) at the next traffic light turn right into Petzvalstraße
- Right away turn right in the entranceway and follow the twisty way
- The entrance of IAF is on the alongside from the right building.
From south over A39 or A395

- A39 – Exit at motorway crossing Braunschweig Südwest
- Follow the motorway, exit Rautheim
- Turn left into Rautheimer Straße
- At the traffic light turn right into the Helmstedter Straße (B1)
- The next crossing (second traffic light) turn left into the Ebertallee
- Follow the Ebertallee, crossing railroad, straight ahead
- At the ponds straight on in Messeweg
- At the traffic light turn right into Berliner Straße
- Range in left and turn the first possibility left into Petzvalstraße
- Right away turn right in the entranceway and follow the twisty way
- The entrance of IAF ist on the alongside from the right building.
Arrival by train
From the station Braunschweig you take most comfartable a taxi to arrive IAF. The ride continues about 15 minutes and costs 10 EUR.
