Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Add-On Board
The DSP Add-On Module is the ideal completion for the FPGA platform FFP Basic. It is eminently suited for implementation of complex algorithms.
There are two different types of the DSP-Add-On-Module available (Typ A, Typ B). Both types have the same features and can be use on one or on different extension slots of the FPGA platform FFP Basic.
Keyfeature of the DSP-Add-On-Modules is the digital signal processor TMS320C6713 from Texas Instruments with 300 MHz clock frequency.
The modules afford the communication between DSP and the integrated memory-devices (Flash EPROM and SRAM) as well as the communication between DSP and the FFP-Basic-Board.
The modules have an integrated voltage conversion so that only a single external +3.3 V power supply is required. The modules also enclose an integrated clock generation for the DSP.
