FPGA/SoC: Xilinx Kintex UltraScale+

Application: Configurable hardware platform for network aggregation (10/40/100 Gbit Ethernet)

The hardware platform consists of an FPGA mainboard which can be extended with up to five FMC+-compatible interface modules (SFP+, QSFP). This allows, depending on the application, flexible configuration of both the form factor (SFP+, QSFP) and the number of interfaces.

The assembly contains the following main components:

•      Kintex UltraScale+ FPGA
•      Zynq-7020 SoC component as board controller
•      DDR4 RAM
•      FMC slots for interface modules
