FPGA: Virtex UltraScale

Application: Interface card for 100 Gbit Ethernet (CFP2, CFP4)

The FPGA module enables the conversion of data streams between differing 100 Gbit Ethernet standards and transceiver types. Furthermore, the module can also be connected to other FPGA boards via the optical mini-pod interface with 100 Gbit/s.

The assembly contains the following main components and interfaces:

• Virtex UltraScale+ FPGA
• Optical board-to-board interface via mini-pod transceiver (100 Gbit/s)
• CFP2 interface for 100 Gbit Ethernet
• CFP4 interface for 100 Gbit Ethernet
