The multi-Gbit Ethernet board has 64 simultaneously usable external SFP ports for the optical connection of 10 Gbit Ethernet-capable hardware. In addition, two 8-lane PCIe ports are also available. The 4 gigabyte DDR3 memory provides the system with a powerful possibility for internal data storage.
The assembly contains the following main components:
- Xilinx-Virtex-7-FPGA (XC7VX550T)
- 64 × 10-GBit-Ethernet
- 2 × PCIe
- 4 GByte DDR3-SODIMM
- Onboard PLL clock generation
